Official personal accounts for people born in 1925 are uncommon. Avoid false matches with younger namesakes by:

  • Combining variants (e.g., “Rønning” OR “Rønningen”) with “Oslo” and the year “1925.”

  • Checking obituary or memorial posts in local outlets that may be shared on Facebook.
  • Reviewing LinkedIn only for institutional mentions; personal profiles are unlikely.

Recent projects

No verifiable “recent projects” are attributable to this identity. At such an advanced age, public activity would more likely include interviews, centennial features, or community honors published by municipalities, cultural institutions, or family announcements.

Name handling tips

  • Try diacritics: “Rønning,” “Rønningen.”
  • Consider given-name expansions: “Geir,” “Georg,” “Gerhard,” “Gerd.”
  • Search with maiden/married variants if relevant.
  • Use quotation marks and proximity: “Rønning” NEAR/3 “Oslo.”

  • Use site filters: site:nb.no, site:lokalhistoriewiki.no, site:nrk.no.
  • Cross-check hits with independent sources before attribution.

Possible disambiguations

  • “Rønningen” is a common surname; ensure the given name is complete and correctly accented.

How you can help refine the search

  • Confirm spelling with Norwegian letters (ø/å/æ) and full given names.
  • Provide any middle name, occupation, notable affiliation, or family relation.
  • Share a timeline (schools, employer, military service, publications).
