Septuplets Frustaciix

American septuplets, seven babies born in three minutes. They were delivered by Caesarean at the 29th week, four boys and three girls, critical but stable. The last one died pre-birth, less than 2 lbs. Their mom, Patti, a 30 year old schoolteacher, had taken a fertility drug. Their dad, Samuel, was a salesman. By September, 1985, three more had died, leaving one girl and two boys surviving. Guinness lists three cases in which all seven septuplets survived. Their three surviving septuplets, Patti, Richard and Stephen, all have eye and developmental problems. In 1989, Patti and Sam Frustaci received a $2.7 million settlement for a medical malpractice suit that they had brought against the fertility clinic that Patti used before having the septuplets. Nonetheless, Patti used the same fertility drug again - and gave birth to twins on 21 December 1991. They have one older son, born in 1983. Patricia Patti Frustaci died on 10 February 2018 at age 63 in San Diego, California. She was born Patricia Ann Jorgensen on 19 November 1954 at Hill Air Force Base in Utah.
