Brazilian actress, model and television presenter, an exotic beauty, she was discovered in 1994 as a model, and was one of the first black Brazilians to succeed in the fashion industry. In 1995 she became the first black woman to parade down the catwalk at São Paulo Fashion Week, then paraded there for ten years across twenty seasons. In 2004, she was named one of the ten sexiest models in Brazil. While a model, she lived in Paris, New York, Miami, Cape Town, Santiago and Buenos Aires, representing brands such as Saint Laurent, Versace, Valentino and H&M. She was photographed for Elle, Vogue, Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan magazines. In 2007 she became an actress and joined the cast of several soap operas. As a VJ she hosted Top 10 on MTV and Acesso MTV and was a reporter for the Video Show and Superbonita. Between 2004 and 2008 she dated the musician DJ Primo, who died of cardiac arrest on 8 September 2008. Between 2012 and 2014 she dated the model Fábio Luiz.
