Biography

American nurse for 40 years. She was born with knee dislocation; as the joint deteriorated, she had 15 surgeries starting as a child. On 9/19/1992, she was struck by lightning inside the house at c. 10:30 PM, Phoenix, AZ. The lightning came out of the electric outlet, probably attracted by the steel balls in her knees, and gave her a jolting shock, burning briefly on a hair-pin but not causing any severe injury. She died 31 January 1997 in Phoenix, Arizona. Read less
