Rodden Lynn

American model in her 20s and an executive secretary in film studios. After high school, Lynn worked in various film companies and studios while trying out for modeling assignments. A gorgeous girl, she had an active social life in the 70s, meeting show biz people and the Hollywood fast crowd. To keep slender, she took pills and shots which led to weight fluctuation and mood swings. Between 1972 and 1982 she had four whiplash car accidents with mild concussions, leading to endless headaches. Distrustful of conventional medicine, she began to put her trust into alternative healing methods. She met Mark McTague, a young actor, in June 1986. They lived together for four years before breaking up in September 1990. On 10 February 1991, Mark shot himself to death, leading to a grim year of grief and pain. Lynn went through a long series of job changes looking for career satisfaction. She did mostly clerical and managerial work, some waitressing and odd jobs. Self employed from mid-1992, she did massage and Shen therapy until 1995, when she phased into One Brain Therapy. She worked as a practitioner and Editor of the therapy technique workbooks, building up a steady clientele of appreciative clients. Health issues were a continual problem and Lynn tried every type of natural healing available for herself, from flower remedies to homeopathy to every kind of pill and diet fad listed in New Age catalogues. Though she was effective for her clients, her own health continued to be a physical, emotional and financial drain as she moved from healer to healer, each more expensive than the last. Her health hit a crisis point in 2001, body shutting down, and her weight dropped to 108 lb. In October 2001, she began working with an alternative doctor using an Acuscope and began a slow but steady turn around. After several months of supplements and treatment, he referred her to a chiropractor who adjusted the Atlas. From there, improvement was steady. As the pain diminished and health returned, Lynn slowly got back into creating a social life. She applied for several grants to help with the medical debt and gradually returned to full health and an active social life.
