Spanish child declared to be the reincarnation of Lama Thubten Yeshe, who died on 3/04/1984. At age three, on 3/17/1988, the boy was crowned, given his robes and made a Lama. Lama Yeshe had met the Spanish parents, Buddhist devotees, before the mother became pregnant. The child was tested extensively from infancy and recognized his former life.
