Bookanakere Siddalingappa Yediyurappa // (listen) (born 27 February 1943), often referred to by his initials BSY, is an Indian politician currently serving as the member of the Bharatiya Janata Party Parliamentary board committee since from 17 August 2022, termed as the highest office of authority in the party. He served as the 19th Chief Minister of Karnataka, and currently a Member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is also the only politician so far in Karnataka to have served four times as Chief Minister and three times as Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. He is the longest serving Chief Minister of Karnataka from BJP. He is a MLA from Shikaripura constituency in Shimoga district, from where he has been elected eight times. In 2008, Yediyurappa became the chief minister after leading BJP to a victory in the Karnataka Assembly elections, a first for the BJP in a South Indian state.[2] In 2011, he resigned after being indicted over a corruption case; he was acquitted in 2016.[3] Owing to alleged ill-treatment meted out to Yediyurappa by the BJP High Command, he left BJP and formed his own party, the Karnataka Janata Paksha.[4][5] In 2014 he merged his party with the BJP and was subsequently elected to the 16th Lok Sabha from the Shivamogga constituency, which he quit after being elected to the Karnataka Legislative Assembly in May 2018 state elections.[6][7] On 17 May 2018, he was sworn in as the chief minister, his third term in the office.[8][9] Unable to get majority support in the Assembly, he resigned just two days after taking office, after which H. D. Kumaraswamy took oath as the chief minister.[10][11] After the government of Kumaraswamy lost its majority in July 2019 with the resignation of 17 MLAs, Yediyurappa took oath as the chief minister and proved his majority. In the December by-elections, BJP won 12 seats out of 15 and gained a majority of 117 seats under his leadership, cementing his win. After days of speculation, Yediyurappa resigned as Chief Minister on 26 July 2021, the second anniversary of his fourth term. He was succeeded by his protege, Basavaraj Bommai, on 28 July 2021.[12]Read less

In Vedic astrology, the natal lagna (ascendant) in Sagittarius, particularly in the Moola nakshatra, brings about a dynamic and philosophical nature. Sagittarius is a fire sign ruled by Jupiter, which endows individuals with a strong sense of exploration, optimism, and the pursuit of higher knowledge. Moola nakshatra, ruled by Ketu, adds a layer of depth, making these individuals introspective and keen on uncovering the roots of matters. People with this combination are often seekers of truth, driven to understand the fundamental nature of existence. They may display a fearless attitude towards life's challenges, often willing to deconstruct and rebuild aspects of their lives to gain deeper insights. With the lagna lord Jupiter placed in the 7th house in Gemini, there is a notable emphasis on relationships and partnerships. The 7th house represents partnerships, marriage, and how one relates to others. Jupiter in this house signifies a benevolent and expansive approach to relationships, often attracting partners who are intellectually stimulating and communicative, given the Gemini influence. This placement can also lead to a strong desire for partnerships that offer growth and learning opportunities. The influence of Gemini, ruled by Mercury, suggests adaptability and a preference for mental stimulation in relationships. Jupiter being in Punarvasu nakshatra, which is ruled by Jupiter itself, enhances the benefic qualities of Jupiter, such as wisdom, optimism, and a nurturing spirit. Punarvasu is associated with renewal and regeneration, indicating a resilient nature and the ability to bounce back from setbacks, especially in personal relationships. This placement can also manifest as a strong philosophical or spiritual leaning, with an innate ability to find joy and purpose in life's cyclical nature. Overall, this combination suggests a person who is not only driven by a quest for knowledge and truth but also finds significant meaning and growth through their interactions and relationships with others. They are likely to be adaptable, optimistic, and philosophical, with a strong inclination towards understanding life's deeper meanings.
